 Harvest Time

At Harvest time we went to Caldecote church

and spent some time thinking about the food that we have, and where it comes from.

The Ancient Greeks!

This term in Purple class we have been studying the Ancient Greeks.  We began by looking at the Greek Gods and Goddesses, and drawing a picture and writing a description for each one.

Then we looked at the Ancient Olympics, and made our own poster advertising it to the Ancient Greeks.  We learnt about the different sports that made up the Olympics, including chariot racing.

We have also had our own Ancient Greek Feast, where we dressed up as Greeks:

and took part on some Greek theatre:
