When a children starts Care Clubs we have a buddy system in which we team up the children with someone they may know for the first few weeks so it is not to daunting an experience for them especially the reception children, this way they will always have a friendly face with them while getting to know the other children. We have lots of fun at care clubs such as outside play, messy crafts, making things computers, board games and we do cooking activity once a week, we have also just got lots of new sports equipment and a Ninetendo Wii. We have daily activites on offer or children can chill out in our quiet corner after a hard day or do their homework and whatever the weather we have fun, whether it is a water fight or sledgeing in the snow!

Care Clubs also work alongside the reception teachers supporting the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
